All eligible FY2026 Volunteer Chapter Leaders are invited to attend the virtual Chapter Leadership Summit taking place on Thursday, September 11, 2025.  All FY2026 Chapter Presidents should encourage their board members to attend this important training session. An email invitation will also be sent on August 18th. 

During the week of August 18, 2026 Volunteer Chapter Leaders will receive a dedicated email with instructions to register for the Chapter Leadership Summit.

FY2025 Mid-year Performance Reviews

With the new term for FY2025 (January-December), the Mid-year Performance Summary Report and January-June 2025 Dashboard Report will be sent to all Chapters and Clubs in mid-August. A reminder to please adjust your Annual Fixed Expenses amount back to a 12-month term if you have not done that already. We will email each Chapter/Club a copy of the performance summary and dashboard reports and mid-year performance review calls will be optional and only scheduled upon request by the Office of the President.

Regional Council: FY2026 Chapter/Club Appointed Representative Due December 1

The Regional Council Chapter/Club Representative serves as a critical link between the local Chapter/Club and Regional Council. This role involves representing the overall health and performance and interests, concerns and initiatives of the local Chapter/Club and facilitating effective communication and collaboration between the chapter, the Regional Council and MPI Global. The Chapter/Club Representative contributes to strategic planning and the exchange of ideas to ensure the overall success and alignment of the Regional Council and its constituent Chapters/Clubs.

MPI Verified Facilitators for Annual Retreat

Annual retreats/summits should take place in September-November to ensure compliance documents (business plan, budget, event/marketing calendar, etc.) are ready for submission to MPI no later than December 1, 2025.

As per the MPI Chapter Policy Manual, Article IV. Board of Directors/Officers, Section 2. Board Election and Service and Item 2.4, Chapters are required to hold an annual Board planning retreat between two and three months prior to the fiscal year. Chapters are recommended to hold a mid-year assessment retreat mid-fiscal year. Chapters are required to utilize an MPI-verified Chapter Facilitator during annual retreats to oversee the process and flow of the retreat. The MPI-verified Chapter Facilitator cannot be a current member of the home Chapter, have served on the Board in the last two (2) fiscal years or be a Chapter Administrator.

Please note that as per MPI Chapter Policy Manual, Article IX. Miscellaneous, Section 3. Non-Compliance, Item 3.1., Chapters may not be eligible for Annual Chapter Performance awards and metrics incentives if they are not compliant with MPI Chapter Bylaws and the MPI Chapter Policy Manual.

Volunteer for an International Volunteer Committee

As chapter leaders, we value your involvement with MPI and your commitment to your chapter. We hope that you will consider applying to serve on an International volunteer committee in 2026!

The 2026 application for International Volunteer Committees, Task Forces, Councils and Advisory Boards will open on September 15, 2025.

As an International volunteer, you will have the opportunity to network with peers and assist with the implementation of MPI’s vision and mission. All MPI members in good standing are eligible to serve.

Courses must be taken by December 3. Applications will be accepted until all scholarships are claimed; applicants will receive notification, at the latest, in the month after they apply.

Chapter Administrators – as a reminder, please be sure that when you are adding new forms to your website you are dragging and dropping a “CAPTCHA” field right before the submit button. This will prevent spam bots from hitting your forms and sending hundreds (or thousands) of notifications through. We had a bot hit the website over the weekend that caused some havoc. IT has gone through and made sure the forms in question all have a CAPTCHA field added, but please make sure you are adding these moving forward.
