Reminder: Board Slates Must Be Distributed by July 1 to Chapter Membership

Remember that your Chapter’s FY2026 Board Slate must be distributed to your membership by July 1. Prior to distribution, the slate must be presented to the Boad of Directors who must approve the action of presentation to the membership for election by acclamation. For distribution, the slate should be posted on your Chapter website and an email (including a link to the website and process for contesting the slate) must be sent to the membership. For complete rules and regulations, see the MPI Chapter Policy Manual, Article IV, Section 2. 

IBOD and GBOT Applications are Open

Consider applying for a position to serve on the 2026 MPI International Board of Directors (IBOD) or MPI Foundation Global Board of Trustees (GBOT). We opened the applications early and made the process simpler. Volunteer members are encouraged to apply. Don't wait to start your application!  

The 2026 MPI International Board of Directors and the MPI Foundation Global Board of Trustees application are open until August 1, 2025.

Encourage Your New Members to Attend an MPI New Member Orientation Session

Does your Chapter/Club offer a member orientation? If you do not offer new members a monthly orientation, please encourage your new members to join the MPI New Member Orientation. By attending orientation, your new members will engage with other MPI members worldwide and learn about opportunities for them to advance their knowledge and connections across MPI.

2025 Membership and Chapter Satisfaction Survey

The Annual Membership & Satisfaction Survey (MCSS) will launch on Tuesday, July 15, and to assist you with promoting the survey to your membership, a toolkit has been prepared and saved in the CLRP > Chapter Toolkits > Monthly Toolkits > MCSS 2025 Chapter Toolkit.  

If your Chapter would like to offer an incentive drawing associated with the survey, please let your Chapter Operations Team know. Include the number of random names you would like drawn and if Board members are eligible to win.  

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee Updates

Join us for the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Office Hours for Chapter Leaders

Join us for a special session hosted by the MPI Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Global Advisory Committee. These office hours will provide Volunteer Chapter Leaders with an opportunity to discuss current EDI initiatives, share ideas, and collaborate. We will also explore key global EDI efforts and discuss how they can support and strengthen regional initiatives.  

We encourage Volunteer Chapter Leaders to actively participate, share their experiences, and help develop solutions that are both locally relevant and globally aligned. Your input is essential in shaping a more inclusive future for everyone.

EDI Training Modules are Now Live

The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Training Modules are now available for all Volunteer Chapter Leaders, Chapter Administrators, and MPI Verified Facilitators. An email with access details was sent on June 10, 2025 with details on the training.  All FY2025 Chapter Leaders are required to complete the training by clicking on this link to complete the form letting us know you pledge to view the videos. This training has been produced by the volunteers on the MPI Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee who represent numerous MPI Chapters and Clubs that have created programs to support and engage all members.

All FY2026 Volunteer Chapter Leaders and Chapter Administrators will be invited to attend the virtual Chapter Leadership Summit taking place Thursday, September 11, 2025.  Please mark your calendars now and include this date in your Nomination Process to ensure new board members attend this important training session. Complete details will be shared as they are finalized in the Chapter Leader Newsletter. 

Closing Celebration – Chapters will get $13,000 in Prizes!

Have everyone from your chapter get scanned at the Cbabi Bayoc Gallery (Washington Ave near Blues Alley) starting at 6:45 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. sharp.
 
The Explore St Louis team will tally attendance based on the percentage of your chapter's registered WEC attendees who are present.
 
The Top 4 Chapters with the highest percentage of their members attending the Closing Celebration will be announced and recognized on stage at 8:15 p.m.
 
And yes… the prizes are real:
  1st – $5,000 toward your next education speaker 
  2nd – $4,000 for your next board retreat
  3rd – $2,500 to fund student memberships
  4th – $1,500 for a chapter community service project
