Jessie States, CMP, CMM, vice president of the MPI Academy, was honored with IACC’s Award of Excellence yesterday during the IACC Americas Knowledge Exchange 2023 in Durham, N.C.

“This individual has a special place in the hearts and minds of everyone who has attended this annual conference over the past few years. They are passionate about forging a close relationship between venue operators and meeting professionals and they have been involved from the beginning in the IACC Meeting Room of the Future and other research and education linked to the industry,” said Joe Santo, group vice president of business development for Encore and a member of the IACC Board of Directors. “This special person has delivered educational sessions at Connect and has welcomed IACC into their conferences and education. Finally, this person has ensured that the relationship between IACC and MPI around the world has remained strong and the two organizations have been united throughout the past few difficult years.”

IACC’s Award of Excellence was established to underscore a commitment to education and to recognize and shine a spotlight on individuals who give their time, talent and resources to help create and enhance IACC’s educational offerings.
