MPI EMEC in Luxembourg, a green destination with a central location

MPI’s European Meetings & Events Conference (EMEC) brings the global meeting industry together to advance new ideas and build lasting partnerships.

Following a pandemic delay, EMEC made its triumphant return in 2023 to Brighton, a lively and inclusive seaside English city that is also home to one of MPI’s most stalwart partners: the IMEX Group.

In March, we’re back—this time in Luxembourg, where historic sites, natural beauty and culinary delights abound in a compact, easily traversed landscape (alongside an exciting EMEC conference programme, of course).

But don’t take our word for why you should visit. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be chatting with several of MPI’s partners and hosts who are making EMEC 2024 possible and can tell you exactly why a visit to Luxembourg (and EMEC) is essential.

Today, we speak with Olga Frolova, senior sales manager for Légère Hotel Luxembourg, one of MPI’s EMEC hotel partners, about Luxembourg’s strengths as a meeting destination, what might surprise those visiting Luxembourg for the first time and why she’s excited about hosting EMEC delegates.

“Come and discover the unexpected Luxembourg—a green destination with a central location at the heart of Europe, well connected by plane, train and motorways,” she says. “Continue your journey in Luxembourg and discover its heritage by public transport, free of charge.”

Frolova says EMEC 2024 delegates can look forward rich history, incredible arts and culture and breathtaking natural landscapes—and culinary delights can start at Légère Hotel Luxembourg.

“Faces lounge and restaurant is a perfect place to discover Luxembourgian cuisine, indulge in delicious cocktails and enjoy the hospitality of our caring staff,” she says. “Spoil yourself with incredible dishes that you won’t soon forget, prepared using only the freshest ingredients. Indulge in delicious cocktails and enjoy the hospitality of our caring staff.”

With a central location and state-of the-art meeting rooms capable of handling meetings of up to 220 people, the Légère Hotel Luxembourg is the perfect partner for meetings, according to Frolova.

“Our 156 design guest rooms, wellness and fitness area make business travelers just as happy as city travelers,” she says. “The hotel is situated only 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Kirchberg, the perfect location to go to the conference center ECCL. The underground, 80-space parking allows you to leave your car at the hotel, which is connected to the business center with the shuttle and a free public transport.”
