Angie Pfeifer, a past MPI board chair reflects on being honored as a "Legacy Contributor" this year during the association's 50th anniversary.
For me, MPI was really the pivoting point in my career, first participating in the inaugural CMM North American Program. This program elevated my knowledge and skills to be more strategic and ultimately develop a business plan for our events team and my career, but, more importantly, it introduced me to some key industry experts that I have since built lifelong relationships.
As a result of those relationships, I eventually applied for the MPI International Board of Directors, which was the second key milestone in my MPI journey. My IBOD experience, which culminated with a chair position in 2007/2008 supporting my growth and learning journey, but, more importantly, being able to contribute to moving our industry forward at a key time when our industry was still be defined.
MPI has made a significant difference in my career journey and the value that our team has been able to demonstrate to move the business forward at IG Wealth Management.
