MPI50: If not now, when?

By Annette Gregg

With all we’ve learned from these last two years, we just had to design  differently. MPI has hosted more than 35 annual conferences (including our in-person WECs during the pandemic), and we are proud to provide the highest levels of education for our industry.

While this remains a priority for WEC San Francisco, we’ve heard loud and clear that you—our community—want connection, choice and celebration. Here are a few ways WEC is different this year.

Meeting you where you are: No matter your energy level, we’ve got a variety of session types for you. Over the three days, you can choose sessions not only based on topic but based on the level of interaction you feel up for at the time. Education in our featured rooms, amphitheaters, campfires, labs and workshops will have different delivery styles.

Facilitation and instruction: While we always leverage the best and brightest in our industry as WEC speakers, we’ve emphasized this year that speakers will be facilitating conversations among the audience, as well as instructing. We welcome and encourage all voices as our industry reunites together.

Festive design: We are celebrating a resurgence and rebirth of our industry, and our main floor will bring that energy alive with sponsor booth activations and integrated learning sessions.

Looking backwards and forwards: We are welcoming students as well as business events experts at WEC this year. Look for college students leading sessions, senior leaders discussing our future in the C Suite Symposium and celebrations throughout WEC of our Up and Comers, most Influential members and Legacy contributors as we celebrate our 50th anniversary.

As with our past WECs, we’ve included some of your favorite programming: mainstage panels with inspiration from our industry leaders, a Town Hall discussion with MPI leadership and mind-blowing evening celebrations you won’t ever forget. We’re glad you’re here; let’s make some memories together.
