A multimillion-dollar renovation has been completed at the Marriott Albuquerque, N.M., which is centrally located to the city’s shopping and dining center. All 411 guest rooms, including hospitality and presidential suites, have been renovated to reflect a design philosophy combining a contrast of modern metal and wood tones. The hotel features more than 23,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor meeting space in 21 rooms, including the newly renovated Grand Ballroom, executive conference rooms and a lobby level meeting room.

Four Seasons Hotel Madrid

The Four Seasons Hotel Madrid will debut on May 15, 2020, within Centro Canalejas after a seven-year restoration. The hotel will offer 200 guest rooms and suites, 15,400 square feet of function space, a new dining concept from three Michelin-starred chef Dani Garcia, a gastrobar and a four-level spa retreat.

Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles

The Beverly Hilton will be completing a renovation in April that will “reintroduce the Los Angeles landmark to a new generation of leisure travelers, corporate guests and entertainment industry events.” The transformation will encompass all 566 guest rooms (including nine private luxury suites), event spaces and all public spaces. The hotel, which originally opened in 1955, features 60,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.

The 419-room Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation, debuting new public spaces, guest rooms and a restaurant: Mosaic Kitchen, Bar and Lounge. The redesigned hotel features “clean and modern spaces with warm color tones and light wood throughout,” inspired by the scenic and diverse landscapes of Ontario. The hotel offers 21 redesigned and recently refreshed meeting rooms with a combined total of 33,000 square feet of meeting space.

The 124-room Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria (Va.) has debuted on historic King Street. Located four miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and under 10 miles from the city center of Washington, D.C., the boutique hotel was built to LEED Silver standards with an emphasis on sustainable land use, resource conservation and waste minimization.

The ninth 21c Museum Hotel - MGallery Hotel Collection will debut next month in downtown Chicago. The mission of 21c founders Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson is to bring contemporary art to the public through innovative exhibitions and programming that integrates art into daily life. The 297-room boutique hotel/multi-venue art museum will offer 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Marriott International has opened a 288-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Suwon, South Korea, part of the new MICE Complex within Suwon Gwanggyo New Town. The MICE Complex is currently comprised of Suwon Convention Center and Gwanggyo Lake Park. A department store is set to open next month, and an aquarium is set to open in December 2020.
