Universal’s Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites
Universal Orlando Resort has revealed a first look at its newest hotel: Universal’s Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites, which will debut on March 17. The resort is intended to “evoke the feeling of being surrounded by the sea from the shore and catching the sunset from beneath a pier.” Combined with Surfside Inn and Suites, the Endless Summer Resort hotels add 2,800 guest rooms to Universal Orlando, bringing the total to 9,000 guest rooms by the end of 2020.
Hard Rock Hotel Dublin
The new Hard Rock Hotel Dublin is “a celebration of the rich cultural and musical history of Dublin, bringing Hard Rock’s signature, music-infused vibes to the heart of the city.” The 120-room hotel is a reimagining of two historic buildings, combining the Exchange Building (built at the turn of the 20th century) and the adjacent Fashion House building—linked by a new glass bridge. Guinness Storehouse, the Jameson Distillery, Dublin Castle and the Temple Bar district are within walking distance.
Hilton and Embassy Suites, Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Kingston Resorts has announced a multi-phase, $50 million renovation project in Myrtle Beach, S.C., beginning with a $20 million investment in the 385-room Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort and followed by a $30 million investment in the 255-room Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort. The renovation of Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort is set for completion by June 2020. The 157-room campus of Kingston Resorts also includes more than 1,600 residential condominiums and townhomes and 100,000+ square feet of meeting and event space.

The development team behind Miami Beach’s new convention center hotel have announced that an 800-room property will be operated by Hyatt under the luxury Grand Hyatt brand when it debuts in 2023. The 17-story hotel—connected to the convention center by a climate-controlled corridor—will include two floors of meeting spaces and ballrooms and a resort-style pool deck with panoramic views.
The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe’s Muckleshoot Casino, the U.S. Pacific Northwest’s largest gaming destination, will debut an 18-story, 400-room tower in 2022. This follows the April 2020 unveiling of remodeled sections of the gaming floor, three new restaurants and a 20,000-square foot events center. Earlier in 2022, an upscale restaurant, a climate-controlled indoor pool and accommodations featuring panoramas of Mt. Rainier will debut.
The multi-concept “sports” hotel Live! by Loews - St. Louis has debuted in the city’s Ballpark Village (home of Major League Baseball’s St. Louis Cardinals). The 216-room hotel boasts four restaurants and lounges and 17,000 square feet.
The Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown, Arizona’s first Canopy by Hilton hotel, will open this spring with 198 guest rooms and suites and approximately 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
