Luminary Hotel & Co., Tampa, Fla.

Luminary Hotel & Co. is scheduled to open in late summer in Tampa, Fla., with 243 guest rooms, the signature Silver King Ocean Brasserie, the Beacon Social Drinkery rooftop lounge, an indoor and outdoor fitness facility, retail space at street level, a spacious pool area on the fourth floor and more than 8,000 square feet of function space. It will also be connected to the Caloosa Sound Convention Center & Amphitheater.

Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok 

The Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok will debut in May 2020. Situated within the newly developed Sindhorn Village in the upscale Langsuan neighborhood just steps away from Lumphini Park (the largest green space in the city), the hotel will feature 285 guest rooms, a spa with 26 treatment rooms, a restaurant centered around plant-based cuisine and event spaces for up to 180 people.

Aloft Charlotte (N.C.) Airport

The Aloft Charlotte (N.C.) Airport hotel has debuted in City Park Charlotte, a 150-acre community that includes residential, retail and offices surrounded by a natural setting. The hotel offers 139 “tech-forward” guest rooms, five meeting rooms, a fitness center, a heated outdoor swimming pool, an oversized patio area with two fire pits and a dedicated dog walk.

More New & Renovated

The Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg Hamburg (Germany) has completed a renovation. The hotel offers 131 guest rooms and suites, a 27-hole golf course and an events area accommodating up to 260 people.

The 142-room Element Bloomington (Minn.) Mall of America has debuted three miles from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport with easy access to the Mall of America, U.S. Bank Stadium, SEA LIFE at Mall of America, Nickelodeon Universe and Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The hotel offers 860 square feet of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 60 people.

The 184-room, oceanfront Barbary Beach House Key West (Fla.) will open in June. The hotel, just over one mile from Key West International Airport, is inspired by the island’s natural landscape and legendary maritime history. For meetings and events, attendees will be able to flow from indoor banquet space to outdoor gardens and courtyards, complete with a 1,500-square-foot event Palapa.

Kiawah Island (S.C.) Golf Resort has debuted the West Beach Conference Center, offering more than 23,000 square feet of pre-event and meeting space (including a 10,000-square-foot ballroom and 11 breakout rooms). The resort features more than 500 villas.
