Victoria Matey

Victoria Matey is an Event Psychology Advisor and the co-founder of Matey Events, a business events consultancy. She's also the VP of Events and Outreach at Bescy, a global non-profit focused on behavioral science.

Victoria holds an MSc in International Events Management and an Associate degree in Linguistics, with a thesis in Cognitive Linguistics. With her unique mix of expertise in both events and human psychology, Victoria has crafted and spearheaded dozens of science-based innovative strategies for event design and marketing.

She's the author of the 'Event Psychology Lab' online course and the book '10 Principles of Strategic Event Planning.' Additionally, Victoria hosts the Event Psychology community and the podcast, "What If I Told You." Her contributions to the field have earned her recognition from Smart Meetings as a Top 100 Smart Women in Meetings and a ChangeMaker by MeetingsNet. In 2022, she was named the Meeting Professional of the Year.
