The MPI Caribe Mexicano Chapter is launching the first edition of “VIVE MICE,” a networking event in which more than 100 hosted buyers (meeting planners, corporate planners and wedding planners) from Mexico, the United States and Latin America will participate. The purpose of VIVE MICE is to showcase the Mexican Caribbean and show why it is the ideal destination for the meeting and romance industry.
Vive MICE is intended to be held every year, and it has two phases. Phase one will take place in Mexico City on October 7, with two simultaneous face-to-face networking cocktails, including live streaming from an iconic location in Cancun. These two networking cocktails will gather and connect the MPICMC members and the meeting and event industry community from the Mexican Caribbean with meeting planners, incentive houses, production companies and corporate event professionals.
The second phase consists of a three-day FAM trip to Cancun (Oct. 13-17). While in Cancun, the hosted buyer will be able to experience and visit the newest hotels, venues and attractions, including a golf tournament with a social responsibility program, three spectacular dinners at brand-new venues and one luncheon with a destination presentation sponsored by the Quintana Roo Tourism Board. In addition, they will have the opportunity to visit an amazing underground river, experience an exciting ride at the most spectacular zip lines in the area and enjoy a relaxing sailing tour to Isla mujeres Island.
The host hotels include the most important and recognized international and local brands; Atelier de Hoteles, Hard Rock Cancun, Fairmont Mayakoba, Paradisus Cancun, Residence Inn Cancun by Marriott, Grand Oasis Cancun, Palace Resorts, Royalton Chic Suites Cancun and Sensira Resort & Spa, among others.
The most renowned DMCs in the destination will be responsible for transportation, site visits and activities: CTA Event Designer & DMC, EPIC, Benz Events, Maritur, AMSTAR and Terramar a DMC Network Company.
