Don’t avoid the hard stuff! Check out this article exploring how you can give negative feedback in a way that feels constructive, not critical. How to Deliver Negative Feedback | Associations Now.
Please note the Chapter-specific versions of your MPI Chapter Bylaws and MPI Chapter Policy Manual must be available to your members and posted on your Chapter’s website for quick reference and access. A good place to post the links to both documents is at the bottom of your Chapter’s home page.
All chapters and clubs can request one membership discount code per calendar year to help recruit new members. The code is for 20% off new Preferred or Premier level memberships and is good for 30 days. Make the most of this opportunity by planning a membership promotion around an upcoming Chapter/Club event. For more information, view the Annual Chapter and Club Membership Campaign resource under Membership Documents > Member Recruitment on the CLRP. You can request your code from Member Services at feedback@mpi.org.
Does your chapter offer a member orientation? If you do not offer new members a monthly orientation you should encourage your new members to join the MPI Global New Member Orientation. By attending orientation, your new members will be able to engage with other MPI Members worldwide and learn about all of the opportunities for them to advance their knowledge and connections across MPI.

For Chapters currently in a Cvent contract, a representative from Cvent will reach out directly to each Chapter to discuss next steps with you. If your Chapter does not have a contract, you should have received a short survey from your Chapter Operations Team Member to gather details about your current platform and potential timing for transitioning to Cvent. Please complete the survey by May 15th.
The updated FAQ can be found on the CLRP > Office of the President > Event & Marketing Automation.
If your Chapter uses the QuickBooks invoicing feature, please ensure the footer information includes the Chapter’s email and mailing address.
If your Chapter changes the payment on your QuickBooks online account, please notify your Regional Operations Manager so the MPI Finance Department can change it back to the corporate card when the charges you want sent to your Chapter card are complete. If the payment is changed without notifying your ROM, your Chapter could be charged twice for QBO – once by default from Intuit and again on your Chapter Rebate Statement. If you have any questions, let your ROM know.
