Motto by Hilton, Atlanta
Hilton has broken ground on one of the first Motto by Hilton hotels in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta. The 146-room Motto by Hilton Atlanta Old Fourth Ward, slated to open in 2021, will join Waldo’s, an $80 million modern mixed-use development project that will include food and beverage outlets and commercial and residential spaces.
Crowne Plaza Hamburg
The newly transformed Crowne Plaza Hamburg - City Alster is the first Crowne Plaza in Germany to showcase the brand’s new concepts, including the new Plaza Workspace public spaces, WorkLife guest rooms and new food and drink options. The hotel offers 291 guest rooms and suites and nine meeting rooms ranging from 200 square feet and 2,200 square feet.
Harbor Club, Saint Lucia
The 115-room Harbor Club, located on Rodney Bay in Saint Lucia, has debuted all-new concepts in three of its dining spaces (including Caribbean-Asian fusion, a sushi bar and a farm-to-table eatery), a daily entertainment lineup and new signature excursions. The property features more than 7,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.

The 147-room Four Points by Sheraton Windsor (Ontario) Downtown recently opened with 1,900 square feet of meeting and event space and a 24-hour fitness center.
The 206-room Radisson Blu Hotel, Basel (Switzerland) recently reopened following an extensive redesign that included the lobby and seven meeting rooms (which now have state-of-the-art video sound technology and complementary Wi-Fi).
The Boring Company recently began tunneling for a transportation system that will allow convention attendees to be whisked across the Las Vegas Convention Center’s 200-acre campus in approximately one minute. The $52.5 million underground people mover will include three passenger stations connecting the existing 3.2 million square feet of convention space with the center’s new, 1.4 million-square-foot West Hall (currently under construction), part of a $1.52 billion expansion and renovation. The people mover is expected to be completed in January 2021.
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced that it will manage a luxury hotel in Dallas. The project, which will also feature branded residences, is scheduled to open in 2022. The new development will comprise a 25-story, mixed-use tower located in the exclusive Turtle Creek neighborhood. The hotel will offer 176 guest rooms and suites, four restaurants and bars, a lobby lounge, extensive meeting and function facilities and a spa. The tower will also house 100 luxurious Residences at Mandarin Oriental located on the upper floors of the building.
The Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art recently opened in Chicago’s Oak Brook neighborhood. The museum highlights the wonders of lapidary art—hand-carved stone, minerals and gemstones— and will include the launch of a new Chang jade exhibition featuring a rare five-foot jade pagoda from the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair. The new Oak Brook location also features a 1,000-square-foot multi-purpose room that is available to rent for a range of special events.
