Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel 

The Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel has debuted as one of the tallest properties in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood (39 floors at 430 feet high). The 341-room hotel features a rooftop pool with 360-degree views and 7,326 square feet of event space.

The Otis Hotel, Autograph Collection  

The Otis Hotel, Autograph Collection, and AC Hotel Austin-University is a dual-branded hotel set to debut on Feb. 20 in the campus district of Austin, Texas. The 11-story property will offer four new restaurants and bars, as well as 347 guest rooms. The Otis Hotel with include more than 7,100 square feet of meeting space, including a 3,480-square-foot ballroom.

Wyndham Grand Algarve, Portugal 

The Wyndham Grand Algarve has debuted in Quinta Do Lago resort, a popular leisure and golf destination in Portugal. The property features 132 suites and five event spaces that can accommodate up to 400 guests.

More New & Renovated

The Mandarin Oriental, Boston is undergoing a $15 million renovation project of all guest rooms and event spaces, scheduled to be completed in April. The hotel, situated in Back Bay near some of the city’s major attractions, offers 148 guest rooms, 10,000 square feet of event facilities and a spa.

The renovated, 280-room Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower has debuted in the city’s new financial district. The 344-foot, 29-story building is topped by a glass dome, providing the top-floor restaurant with 360-degree views of the city. The property offers 280 guest rooms and a variety of event spaces, including a 500-seat auditorium and the Cosmos Room for up to 1,800 people.

Kimpton Hotel Eventi, a boutique hotel located at the intersection of the NoMad and Chelsea neighborhoods in New York, has debuted a top-to-bottom refresh of its event spaces, which now offer a “sense of comfort and tranquility that contrast New York City’s hustle and bustle.” The hotel features 16 meeting rooms totaling 20,458 square feet, and guests can also book an event at the Big Screen Plaza, a 15,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor, multi-level public plaza with a 30-foot multimedia art screen.

The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, Calif., has unveiled a multimillion-dollar renovation that has “transformed the resort into a modern, innovative oasis, steeped with desert-inspired elements.” The resort features 884 guest rooms and 235,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 25,000-square-foot ballroom.
